Melatonin plays an important role in falling asleep. This hormone regulates our circadian rhythm, during the day there is light and melatonin production is suppressed, in the evening (from the pineal gland in the brain) melatonin production is initiated. Our bodies largely produce melatonin themselves, the contribution from food is small.
The sleep hormone can also be produced from tryptophan. The body converts tryptophan into 5-HTP, which in turn turns into serotonin. Subsequently, serotonin can be converted into melatonin. This conversion process requires several cofactors, such as magnesium, B vitamins, zinc, calcium and amino acids. Foods rich in tryptophan usually contain these supporting substances as well. Melatonin, by the way, is not in Sleep Complex.

Usage and Storage
Take 1 tablet one hour before going to sleep. Adhere to the recommended dosage. Maximum dose of EGCG is 800 mg per day.
Not suitable to consume in combination with other green tea products or during fasting. Not suitable for children under 18 years of age, during pregnancy or lactation.
Keep out of reach and sight of young children. Store dry, dark and at room temperature (15 - 25 °C).
A healthy lifestyle is important, as is a varied balanced diet, for which dietary supplements are no substitute.
