Vitakruid Creatine Monohydrate
Suggested retail price: €24.90
Creatine is a substance that occurs naturally in our body. We can get it partly from food, but our body can also produce it from the amino acids arginine, glycine and methionine. The amounts found in food are relatively low. In comparison, 1 scoop of Creatine Monohydrate contains 3 grams of creatine. So for this you would have to eat 300 grams of herring or as much as 700 grams of beef every day.

Usage and Storage
Take 1 scoop of powder with a glass to 250 ml of water daily. Preferably take in combination with a piece of fruit.
You take creatine daily, both on rest days and training days. There are no strict rules for the exact time of intake, but many people prefer a consistent time. The most important thing is to take your dose every day.
Creatine builds up in the body over time. If you want to see effects quickly, you can start with a build-up or loading phase in which you take five grams of creatine for five to seven days, four times a day. If you don't use a loading phase it will take about a month to reach the same level.
When you use creatine, you may experience slightly more fluid retention. Therefore, for sports in which it is undesirable to gain weight, it is recommended to stop taking creatine four to six weeks before competition. During this period, creatine levels in the body drop back to their original levels.
A healthy lifestyle is important, as is a varied balanced diet, for which dietary supplements are no substitute.
