There are two well-known types of Chamomile oil . There is the Blue Chamomile oil ( also called the true Chamomile oil ) and the Roman Chamomile oil. The Roman Chamomile essential oil is made from the Chamaemelum nobile . Roman Chamomile is a gentler oil that is more suitable for frail people , children and the elderly. Blue Chamomile is better suited for therapeutic use because it contains more of the active ingredient Azulen
